Riptide

I quite like piccalos/cortados & this bean blend is really nice. Good depth of flavour & the creaminess is surprising. This sounds wanky; but there seems to be layers of flavours. Somehow you guys have managed to make a blend similar to what can be achieved with a mix of light + heavier roasts.

I have been travelling around Australia in a caravan with my family for the last year. One of the first things I do in the morning is to indulge in my morning coffee. I have been trying different coffee beans ground for expresso for my own machine and this is the best I have found so far. It holds the Creme throughout my drink and that for me makes a great coffee> Thankyou White Whale !!!!

Riptide makes a smooth silky coffee, worthy of sipping whilst taking in cooler autumn mornings. A balanced coffee with gentle flavours it is a winning morning brew in our house.

What I love about the White Whale standard products is that they are made to a flavour and aroma benchmark not to a regional branding, which in itself has a seasonal production.
In the past I have found with other suppliers they kept their regional mixes, long after seasonal supply stopped. The regional branded coffee supplied comes from the out-of-site under-the-counter bag, which had none of the flavour and aroma qualities that should have been present.

We stumbled upon White Whale coffee when visiting Cairns last year. We bought a sample pack and tried them all in our new Breville Espresso machine. Whilst they were all good, the standout for us was Riptide. The aroma of the beans on first opening the pack is just lovely, then the depth of the brew flavour on extraction, fantastic. This is the coffee I start my day with. It's smooth, has a lot of depth and great mouthfeel and a crema that lasts.
