Situated within the picturesque Quezaltepec Mountain Range in El Balsamo region, Finca La Esperanza is a farm owned & operated by the Belismelis family.
Harvesting is meticulously carried out through manual picking, ensuring the selection of only the ripest cherries. Processing begins with 36-40hr fermentation, & is followed by closely monitored patio drying for a further 3-4 days. The coffee is then transferred to Guardiolas, a type of drum coffee dryer, to dry for a period of 7 days until it reaches the optimal humidity level.

La Esperanza provides ongoing training in farm procedures & farming practices to its workers. The farm prioritises fair labour practices and drives community healthcare outcomes. La Esperanza is certified by the Rainforest Alliance.
